Chronicles of Uruk
The Witness Returns
The same threshold, painted into motion: an unmarked tablet, a city rising from reed and river, a seal that closes one age and opens another. Three ages braided into a single memory, and the witness who returns to tell it.
Step inside
One tablet, three ages, a memory that will not end
The opening is a door. Beyond it, a single object passes between three ages of one city: ancient Uruk rising from reed and river, a present that has forgotten it, and a drowned age still to come. It remembers everything, and it has found its way to you.
You read it like an illustrated novel and play it with light role-play: decide, solve, gather, and shape what the Chronicle keeps. No knowledge of Sumer required. The oldest story was never finished, and the first to witness it help decide how it is remembered.
